The Art of Glass

As a tradition, art on glass has often come in the form of windows. However in recent years a new art form has begun to emerge; classical stained glass is being outshone by new technologies which are allowing designers to experiment with countless new colours and textures, creating breathtakingly intricate masterpieces.

Our own designers in particular are always advancing towards bringing these magnificent creations to the home. Nowadays one of the best ways to spark interest in a room is to decorate it with some contemporary art, but has it ever become functional?

At CreoGlass, we are constantly testing out new ideas for splashback designs. After all, a kitchen tends to be the hub for action in the house, so why not let it make a lasting impression with a fascinating one-off splashback, for complete originality.

Some of our most interesting designs are those that experiment with texture. For example the ink splatter effect, which would fit right in with a black & white/chrome themed kitchen, or the sample to the right- which is perfect for the modern home with it's seemingly 'frozen-in-time' water droplets. This has real depth which gives it a different look depending on your position and the lighting.

So if you are looking to rejuvenate your kitchen, but are tired of seeing the same bland showroom, then it may be worth breaking out of the ordinary with something 100% unique. We can create bespoke pieces to suit your every need, as we pride ourselves on our specially developed coating technology which allows us to combine art, fashion, and practicality. If you'd like, you can even bring in your own artwork and we will help transform it into a stunning statement piece for your kitchen, giving it the attention it deserves. Feel free to contact us for more details; we are happy to help with any questions you may have, and give advice should you need it when choosing your dream kitchen.
