January 2013
Our January Splashback of the month was made especially for a customer who wanted to integrate the glass with his existing tiles. We had to find the perfect colour to match the array of miniature tiles; to do this we mixed paint using different types of stones from India, Russia, and America, combined with natural pigments. The glass also has a beveled edge giving it a classic and unique look.
Our customer said “I am very pleased
CreoGlass was recommended to me and everyone who visits my flat comments
on splashbacks. Using unique materials would clearly enhance the work
of any innovative architectural firm, interior designer, or talented
experienced builder.”

Mirror Glass Splashbacks: A Unique Design
CreoGlass is one of very few companies who are able to offer durable, high quality mirror glass splashbacks. Mirrors are perfect for allowing daylight to reflect across the room, creating a bright atmosphere and giving the illusion of more space.
A stunning example of our ability to combine chromium mirror and paint is presented in our December 2012 Splashback of the Month. This is an exclusive art style due to the fact that each wave is hand sprayed using stencils, instead of backing the glass with prints or stickers. Because of this, it's a versatile design available in almost any colour scheme, from cherry red to calm sky blue. Not only that, but the hand crafted nature of the product allows each glass splashback to have that individual flair that makes no two the same.
However examples can be seen of the consequences of using the incorrect glass. In a recent installation, we replaced a cracked standard glass mirror that had not been properly treated, with one of our toughened chromium mirrors. Our unique coating process allows us to guarantee high quality splashbacks- ensuring durability, practicality, and elegant design.Monday, February 11, 2013
The Process of Printed Glass Splashbacks: Available in Standard Sizes
Not only do CreoGlass provide full service bespoke designs, but we also supply a wide range of standard sized printed and painted glass splashbacks. These are much more accessible if you are further away from us, as we can ship your splashback out without requiring measurements to be drawn up first. We offer eight different sizes ranging from 60 cm x 60 cm, to 70 cm x 100 cm.
Buying standard patterned splashbacks vary from place to place. There are several different methods available for creating the images on the glass. One way is to colour the glass and bake it, however this is only good for extremely simple designs. Another way is to print the image on a sheet and stick it as a backing to the glass, but this is problematic for most splashbacks as they will not be treated to withstand the high temperatures of your cooker. At CreoGlass, our method is that we print directly on to the glass which allows it to then be cured, ensuring all the practicality and durability you'd expect with such a high quality looking piece.
We have 28 designs viewable now on our website; these strikingly eye catching and functional products can withhold temperatures of more than 200 degrees Celsius, are easy to clean and much easier
to apply in comparison to conventional tiles. We will also soon be releasing them on our online store for you to order at any time and have them delivered straight to you. Currently available on our Amazon store are a selection of samples and several Luxury and Standard Colour Collection splashbacks.
To measure for your standard fit splashback, all you have to do is take the measurements (in cm or mm) of the distance between: your kitchen worktop and the lowest point of the extractor fan (the height) and a dimension between the cupboards (this will be the width of the splashback). Then just match that to one of the available options, or you could e-mail us for a quotation about a specially fitted size.

Remodelling your kitchen or bathroom PART ONE
Improving your home is not an easy task due to the extensive work it requires in
terms of planning. No matter how you want your home to look, you
can always make it a comfortable place to live in. When thinking about
improving your home, there are some important things you should think about in order to reach your goals.First thing's first: make sure you have repaired the existing structures. The best way to begin is always to make the necessary repairs around your home before beginning other remodeling projects. Start with the roof repairs, plumbing work, all of the tasks you've always put on the to do list in the back of your mind, but kept putting off until now.
Think about making your main priority the kitchen and bathroom,
as these projects will increase the value of your home more than
any other room. You must be careful when choosing paint colors to use in your
bathroom and kitchen. Most of the time they are smaller rooms and a
choice of dark paint will make a room feel even smaller. There are plenty of things that can be purchased to quickly freshen up your kitchen or bathroom: faucets, counter tops, ventilation, fixtures, and lighting. The planning of these facilities will give you a good starting point; detailed plans are the key to a great renovation.
